Maintenance and changing Ionization Tubes
1. Cut the power by disconnecting the battery eliminator.
2. Remove the top cover.
3. Carefully remove the clip that keeps the ionization tube in place.
4. Unscrew the electron tube from the base plate.
5. Carefully pull the metal sock off, wipe the glass with a wet cloth.
Then wipe the tubes dry with a dry cloth. The tube should be replaced after 9000 hours of use.
6. Put the clip back.
7. Put the top cover back on.
8. Insert the plug and check that it’s working properly – a faint buzzing sound should be heard and a faint
ion smell should come from the unit.
